By outsourcing these to our Transaction Centers in Houston and Manila, it allows the Corporate Purchasing Department to improve its own contributions by focusing more diligently on the larger dollar value and lower volume strategic purchases. A significant personnel and supervision cost savings results. A positive by-product is the additional flexibility of ramping personnel levels up and down to match changing purchasing spending levels.
Outsourcing is generally done on our premises though electronic data exchange, internet interface or dial-up networking with the client’s e-systems. However, outsourcing can also be done on the client’s premises if preferred. We work with each client to develop logs, reports, meetings and other communication mediums to ensure sufficient audit trails are established and to supply information needs to the Purchasing Department.
